Plants of Tropical North Queensland: The Compact Guide

A full colour plant guide with simple keys to identify 485 plants of  Far North Queensland from the area around Cairns including Cardwell, Chillagoe and Cooktown, with a special focus on the area’s primitive plants.

This guide focuses on those plants that stand out to an interested observer in some way and the keys have bee built around those characteristics that make the plant noteworthy.  There are more than 1,000 species of trees alone in the rainforest of the Wet Tropics region and only a small proportion of these can be listed.
