The Flora of the Wongan Hills Area: Including Information on Fauna and Fungi

This guide centres on the bushlands and lateritic hills within a 12 km radius of the town of Wongan Hills in Western Australia.  The native flora section covers 693 plants by genus including four ferns.  Where possible, photos of both the habit and a close-up of the flowers and leaves are included with descriptive text.  Photographed introduced plant species (39) are followed by information on mosses, liverworts and allies, fungi and lichens, as well as fauna that has been recorded.

Flowering dates have been largely based on information provided in Florabase as well as the author’s observations.
