Lower Eyre Peninsula is home to many interesting and attractive species of native plants.  Most are confined to southern Australia and some are unique to the region.

More than 300 species of native plants are including including tall trees, carnivorous plants, edible fruits, numerous orchids and a variety of adaptations facilitating pollination, seed dispersal, and regeneration after fire. Threats to, and conservation of, the native flora are discussed. The best places to view and appreciate the plants are included.
