This booklet gives an introduction to the common insects, spiders, scorpions, millipedes and centipedes of the Northern Territory. It is written for tourists and locals alike who want to know more about every day “creepy crawlies”. It deals mostly with insects because they are the commonest and the largest group. The others are included because they occur in the NT and are often seen. Text is kept to a minimum and the use of scientific terms is avoided wherever possible. It is however, a simple but accurate introductory field guide to the large number of Northern Territory species.
