Seventeen years in the making Waterfalls of South Gippsland documents 234 waterfalls.  69% of the waterfalls documented in this book have never been mapped before and 89% do not have officially recognized names!  This book represents a significant expansion to the geographic knowledge of the area.  Despite the focus on undocumented waterfalls there are still 48 drops included that have tourist friendly access.

When Travis began putting this book together, he presumed that all the waterfalls in the area must have been mapped. It was a major revelation that not only was this not the case but there were unmapped single tier waterfalls up to 80m high and breathtaking multi-tier waterfalls up to 120m high.   Each waterfall entry includes historical anecdotes, height measurements and GPS locations and beautiful photographs of every tier.

About the author: Travis is a musician and music teacher and apart from titles relating to music, has authored six landscape photography and guidebooks with a focus on unmapped waterfalls. He has found over 300 unmapped waterfalls in Victoria and has had 189 of these added to the Vicmap data set. He has won a number of prestigious awards for his photography over the years as well as holding solo exhibitions of his work.
